Is Your Company Listed in the Online YellowPages?
If you are like most business owners, you have probably submitted your website to the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. But what about all the IYP (internet yellow pages) and review sites? While it’s true they don’t get nearly the traffic that the major search engines get, being listed their gives your clients one more place to find you.
In some cases, a strong listing on one of these sites can mean another listing in google’s organic results. Typically, here are only 10 positions on the first page of Google. If your site is already on the front page that means you have 1/10th the positions. If a listing from on of the IYP sites or even the review sites is also listed you double the odds that someone will contact you!
